Taking place from Friday 4 September to Sunday 13 September 2026, the festival stretches across two weekends, with a packed programme of live music, comedy, dancing, sporting events, children’s entertainment, carnival amusements and community events.
At the heart of the festival is the traditional Harvest Fair Day on Saturday, 12 September — a tradition that has been part of life in Glenties for generations. The streets come alive with traders, traditional crafts, sheep marts and auctions, sheep-shearing displays, live music, dancing and plenty of entertainment.
