An Grianán Theatre

An Grianán Theatre is one of County Donegal’s principal venues for live performance. Located on Port Road in Letterkenny, its varied programme includes drama, comedy, music, dance, family shows, talks and seasonal productions throughout the year. The theatre also produces work in-house and supports local performers and creative projects, giving visitors the chance to see both touring shows and productions with a strong Donegal connection. Programmes change regularly, so it is worth checking what is on before your trip and booking popular performances in advance. An evening show is an excellent addition to a break in Letterkenny and a particularly good option during the darker autumn and winter months. Visitors staying elsewhere in the county can also check the programmes at the Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey and the Abbey Arts Centre in Ballyshannon.
